Avril Lavigne has announced her engagement to her boyfriend, fellow singer Mod Sun.And now the couple have confirmed the engagement by sharing a slew of loved-up snaps from their break away in Paris.

One of the photographs shows the singer falling down on one knee in front of Avril near the Eiffel Tower, while another shows off the impressive heart-shaped engagement ring he presented her with.

Penning a sweet caption for his bride-to-be, Derek – Mod Sun’s real name – penned “The day we met I knew you were the one. Together forever till our days are done. I had a dream where I proposed in Paris. I pulled out a ring and asked you to wear it. I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes. You’re too beautiful for my words to describe.”
